Normally the computer system can automatically recognize the player, if the system can’t recognize the players then you need to install the driver (the Windows 98 driver will work with Windows XP too).

A.
The reason to cost that problem, it could be the connection problem between the player to the computer system:

1)    May be is the USB cable’s problem.
2)    May be is the product’s USB port problem.
3)    May be is the computer’s USB port problem (because the player is USB 2.0 but some computer’s USB port can only support USB 1.0).
4)    May be the product is defect.
 Here is a quick test:
1)    Use different USB cable to connect.
2)    Normally computers have different USB ports at front and back, please connect the player to the USB port at back panel.
3)    Please give the computer system some time to process/recognize the player (the speed is up to your computer system, so time it may take 2~5 mines)

Q. How to convert a midi file into an MP3 file for free?
A.
Converting a midi file to MP3 requires a program which will do it for you. If you try to do it yourself without a program, it can be dangerous and corrupt the file.

Steps:

  1. Search online or at http://www.download.com for an MP3 converter or midi converter.
  2. Search through the many different programs and read each one carefully! They'll all be very different from each other.
  3. Once you find a converter that says it specifically 'converts midi to MP3 format' then it's time to see if it's free, free to try or if you simply have to buy it. Most are free to try for a certain amount of time. If you only need to convert one file or even just a few, then you won't need to buy it.
  4. Download the trial version and convert what you need. You never have to buy it after you're done converting.

Tips:

  • Always read the descriptions and customer reviews. It's important to see what others have thought about the product.
  • Popular products don't always mean good products, it could just mean that it was new and a lot of people wanted to try it.
  • Look for words such as 'easy' or 'simple' or 'quick', these are signs that will tell you it's a good converter.
  • You can download as many as you like, because most will have a free trial. So try as many as you like out, you can always delete them if you don't like them.
